hi guys, i just joined the forum even though i have been following many posts here as they have a lot of information in there.
anyways i have a 2001 Camry
i recently clay barred it and then used carnuba wax from mothers.
used a cheap rotary buffer and the results are not that bad. anyways i found a few tiny little rust spots like a pin dot size.
also my car has some deep scratches that i need some help or suggestions to get rid of
here are the pictures

I would try m105 or ultimate compound but maybe try wetsanding first then m105 to get the sanding marks out

I agree 105 is great

But first Do your fingernails catch on those scratches? If they do they are most likely to deep to remove.

Toyota paint is normally pretty soft so the defects should level easily. Likely without the need for sanding

What's your opinion on the process/product choice of tucarora dave's thread...and of final results?

Sometimes the answer given on these forums require a little effort on your part.:dblthumb2:

I have no personal expierence in wetsanding with a DA, but am confident with the right help I might be able to make this situation better

Definately alot of good info here. However, this particular car will not be my guinea pig. I've weighed the risks -vs- rewards, and quite frankly, the risks are just to high. Sometimes being the best detailer to ever walk Gods green earth requires you to know when to walk away and know when to run :bolt:

Can't get anything more "tutorial" than a Mike Phillip's dedicated response to a forum member in need.

Maybe read it this time...scanning is of little value.

Happy detailing...:autowash:
