I feel your pain and most will admit doing the same thing...Wheels are so expensive to replace...

Thanks BobbyG, its not much, but to me is like I just wrecked the whole wheel. Wife says "you can barely see it" But I do and that's what bothers me.

I know the feeling, sadly some people will just never understand.

I hear ya! My wife has done it twice, in the same week I think!

I keep telling myself it just adds character to the car!

Wheel story to help your pain.. The car I bought when I 16 had curbed wheels, all four. It bothered the hell out of me but o well, flash forward 4 years. On my 20th birthday I bought my second car. 2000 BMW 540I euro built and equipped with the M package, for anyone that knows bmws... this car is the #### for lack of a better word. I bought the car from a retired military husband and wife, They bought the car new in germany for a retirment gift for themselves. The car was mint. I knew what I was getting and was ok paying for it. About three months after owning the car I was out of town on vacation and had left the car at my parents house so it could sleep in the garage in a safer neighborhood. When I get back and go to pick up the car my dad goes into the garage with me and says "hey so your mom drove your car when you were gone." I said ok, any issues with it? He gives me the welllllllll....... She curbed both the passenger side wheels... I go and look and my heart dropped... at least 1/4 of the way around on both wheels and rear one was deep... all I could say was alright, thanks for keeping it in the garage. I was soooo mad, my father knew it. He offered to replace those two for me for Christmas that year.. Mom still says sorry. I feel your pain.

I totally feel your pain. After working at Lexus i had a vendor teach me how to fix curb rash and paint wheels for customers. Its not easy to do but the work pays off.

You mean detailing would be an add on service. People would be looking for you.

It's not easy but the work will pay off. Paints the easy part but laying down the clear is not. I charge about 100$ a wheel great add on service

I feel your pain. I spent 28 years in the tire business. Post a pic and if there is a way to make it look new...or at least better I should be able to tell you how...
