Is it just me or does anyone have issues with eye watering, itchyness etc after getting a slight mist of various detailing products near your eyes? (yes yes, I wear eye protection as much as I can) I cant really narrow it down what is causing it, but I think its rubber/vinyl/plastic dressings that usually do it when doing the interior or tires. Its really annoying and wondering if anyone has any safety tips to prevent this problem.

Silicone products (like rubber/vinyl dressings) are very irritating to your eyes. Do you spray it around the interior? One thing to try would be to spray it onto your towel and then wipe onto the interior surfaces, then you are doing less spraying at a closer distance. They also make goggles that are sealed to keep mists out--when you say you wear eye protection, if you are wearing safety glasses meant to deflect objects they will not be effective against spray mists.
