Does anyone have a favorite/favorites? I am interested in picking up some new ones and am open to any and all options.

Thanks.

I use a regular yellow foam applicator pad mainly. But sometimes I'll use the oval applicator pads. They are all the same.

I like the yellow foam applicators, indigo MF applicators, and this: Wolfgang Polishin’ Pal is an ergonomically shaped urethane handle that holds specially designed foam pads using hooks & loops. (http://www.autogeek.net/polishing-pal.html)

These are the nicest I've found...

Pinnacle Foam Wax Applicator- Great applicators- Great results! (http://www.autogeek.net/pinfoamwaxap1.html)

The P21S foam wax applicators are "the bomb". I use them for liquid waxes. I find that these pads, while smaller than a traditional, round applicator pad use less product and with the black handle I can control the applicator and apply a nice, thin coat of liquid wax. For cleaner/waxes and cleaner/sealants, they work as well. Lastly, I can move really fast with these guys.

German wax applicators, P21s 100% Carnauba Wax Applicators, foam wax pads (http://www.autogeek.net/p21s-wax-applicators.html)

Aside from the P21 pads I have a small inventory of traditional microfiber pads and gold jeweling pads. With these traditional pads, I don't over-think them. Short of *not* falling apart on the first use, they pretty much pay for themselves quite fast and I have yet to find a set that I would avoid.

Besides the unavoidable Pinnacle Foam Wax Applicator- Great applicators- Great results! (http://www.autogeek.net/pinfoamwaxap1.html) , I really like Lake country ccs applicators, wax applicator, sealant applicator (http://www.autogeek.net/red-ccs-applicators.html) . They are virtually indestructible (I have washed them countless times, any which way you can imagine - by hand, in the washing machine, at low temps, high temps...).
I have several other types but these are the ones which I use the most.

2 of the best things to work with any wax or sealant by hand with:

1. Dodo Supernatural Foam Finger Mitts: It's hard to explain how awesome these are without trying them. Bottom line, they are great. Some people say they are "expensive", but I don't think anything that costs 5 bucks and works so well is expensive.

2. Cobra 600 gsm Purple Towels: have the right weight and nap to easily remove the stickiest products. Just a great towel.

The gold or red Lake Country CCS are pretty nice and I've gone through dozens of the little yellow foam like BobbyG linked. The Chemical Guys W-APS is quickly becoming my favorite though. Haven't tried the P21 applicator yet.

I agree. CG pads are on sale right now 2 for $4.34 (very good price) on their site.
