I'm doing a review of AG's Woflgang Cockpit Trim Sealant or WGCTS for short.

The product for review and also a Cobra 16"x16" Gold Plush as well as OPC at 5:1 for cleaning interiors:
http://i1221.photobucket.com/albums/dd466/ImpressiveImageDetailing/C30BB09D-5350-4939-9B36-D16C36DFB580-1396-000001A424194CCC.jpg

I'm using the interior door of my Chrysler SRT.
Here is the door skin un-cleaned and un-sealed/dressed:

I sprayed the OPC on the interior door and let dwell for about 15sec and then wiped clean with a white Edgeless MF:

Not too dirty:

I then sprayed the cleaned surfaces with distilled water I keep in a Wolfgang pump sprayer.I never like to leave OPC/APC residue on any interior so I always wash down the surfaces I cleaned with straight water:

Then I dried the water with my clean Cobra MF:

Took the WGCTS and shook it up real good before applying, then spritzed a few sprays on my finger pocket MF that I'll use for application:

Here you can see the WGCTS being applied and putting some richness to the interior door panel:

After application of the product:

It is a little shiny after application(on black)do I lightly wiped the surfaces with the Cobra MF,to knock the shine down just a bit:

The product was extremely easy to use!

I think the WGCTS works and looks GREAT on the interior and will definitely use this for future detail's.Also it will keep the interior to be cleaned with ease (water) the next time it needs to be cleaned.

looks great. What kind of car is that, dodge or chrysler judging by the chrome pieces on the inside door pulls.

heres the obvious question that you know is coming...

how does it compare to Ultima Interior guard plus ? Does it have a slight leather scent ?

does it leave a smooth soft feel after application ?

thx in advance.

Nice review on both process and product! :props:

I like the extra rinse idea. I've often suspected that some of the issues detailers see with products are the result from left over cleaning solutions that have dried and left residue behind.

Wolfgang Cockpit Trim Sealant looks to be a quality product. When you spray it on a pad or towel what color is it? Some products are milky in color while others are clear. Naturally they all dry clear but I'm curious.

The overall look of the panel is very nice. I'm wondering sine this is a sealant if it repels dirt and dust between cleanings?

Thanks for doing such a thorough review and sharing with the members here...:props:

Yes,I think that's what Wolfgang was going for with this product.Another option that was VERY similar to UIGP.
The scent has almost a alcohol(IPA) scent to it.UIGP has a slight edge in the slickness dept. but the WGCTS is priced a bit better and leaves a bit darker appearance on the applied surface.

Good morning Bobby,Thank You!
The color of the WGCTS sprays clear in color. The product description:
Keeping your interior clean and looking new is easier than ever with Wolfgang Cockpit Trim Sealant. Treated surfaces will only require a damp microfiber cloth for maintenance and light touch ups

Great review. I am interested as well to see how this product stacks up against Ultima.
The (2) products are very similar but my personal findings are:
UIGP - Slicker and more expensive (12oz @ $39.99 / $.30oz)
WGCTS - Leaves surface darker and (8oz @ $29.99 / $.27oz)
Please remember that the prices I listed are both products normal sell prices as both products are on sale now.

Great review Chris! :dblthumb2:
My pleasure Nick...Thank You :)

+1 on WGCTS leaving a darker appearance. When I used this on my bike, I intended on solely protecting my vinyl seat. After using WGCTS, I actually restored my seat.

Sorry but are you saying the WGCTS restored your seat or you restored it afterwards?

Wow, I don't know how you did your math, but 39.99/12 = 3.33, and 29.99/8 = 3.75. It's hard to compare the pricing on these products because they don't come in the same size bottles, but if you compare the price per ounce it steadily goes down as the volume goes up:

UIGP 4oz $5/oz
WCTS 8 oz $3.75/oz
UIGP 12oz $3.33/oz
WCTS 16oz $3.12/oz

Sorry to drag up an old thread but I was trying to decide between these two and what size to buy.
