Anyone know any off the shelf metal wax/protectant?
I am planning on polishing my diamond plate tool box.
But after im done polishing, i'd like to put on some protectant to prevent oxidation and waterspots.

But i need to have my tool box back on my truck before sunday night.
So i cant really order something online and have it by the weekend....

Does anyone know any good metal protectant that can be pick up locally?

Any sealant should work perfectly fine.

Klasse twins will work. Have had good luck with them on checker plate.

Just go over the counter with Mothers synthetic wax or McGuiars Ultimate wax. Then order some online and wash and add the new stuff next weekend.

Another one that's readily available in many auto parts stores is
Collinite Metal Wax # 850 (http://www.autogeek.net/collinite-metal-wax.html).
It has mild cleaners with legendary Collinite durability, my LSP of choice on chrome or uncoated aluminum.

What products do you already have as far as wax or sealants? And what are you gonna use to polish it?

you might find Rejex locally ... some boat stores carry it.
