As a Red Sox fan, it has been a long year! I am very happy for Nationals fans though, they'll be my default team for the playoffs to root for now that my red sox can play golf the next 5 months!

Bryce Harper is going to be really special within 2 years!(he is now, but I'm talking like mega star level in 2 years!)

Who would of thought D.C. would have a Division Champ one day...
and long after the Washington Senators jilted the nation's capital.

I'm a Mets fan :(

The Nats have a good team. The O's are my AL team so at least I have a team to watch in October.

I'm not a huge baseball fan myself, but if I want to see my wife ever, I have to be involved in it.

Here is a list of Nationals milestones I managed to find myself at because of her:

I managed to catch an upper deck foul ball while holding a full beer, seated, bare handed (Jorge Posada at the big Yankees blowout where Zimmerman got his big walk-off). Just reached my hand out and plucked it out of the air.

My friends and I were at the late night Phillies game on Zimmerman's birthday 2006. The game was delayed 4+ hours and started around midnight. We were some of the couple hundred fans left and spent quite a bit of time on the Jumbo-tron and TV coverage. The Phils lost and lost out on the wild card.

I went to the inaugural opening day game at Nationals Park without her (she was recovering from surgery and VERY upset about this).

I was there to watch Strasburg debut by striking out 14 batters.

We have tickets to Game Four of the NLDS. My parents are in town to visit the new baby until the 9th so hopefully the Nats stretch this series out!

and you guys love pictures so...

And her influence is already spreading. This is a picture of our son at the hospital--only two days old!
