Hi,
I have a bottle of Collinite 845, 20% full, which is very thin consistency.
My new 845 bottle is very thick consistency.

Is the thin mixture ok to use? Anyone have experience wih their 845 getting very runny?

Thanks
I did a new Accord engine bay with Aero 303 and now wanted to try the 845 on another
engine bay to compare.
Thanks

The consistency of Collinite 845 changes with the temperature. The cooler the product is, the thicker it will get. The warmer it gets, the more thin it becomes.

You will want to apply the product when it is thin and can do so by running the bottle under warm water for a bit.

Laugh now, but using this makes any Collinite 845 application go well.

845 if stored in garage etc will usually go from consistancy of milk to water. That is ok it will not mess with the durability etc. You can run under water or shake the crap out of it and it will get watery. Anyway i like 845 thin it spreads good and coverage is good also. Good luck.

When the temperature gets cooler and the 845 thickens, I put in the microwave for 25-30 seconds. I have a pour spout top on mine so I just open it so pressure wont build up. I don't know that it would but I do this just in case.

Thanks,
it's weird because the two bottles are stored together and one is super thin and the new bottle is like jello (I'll warm and shake the sh#t out of it before using).

I did the engine bay with Collinite 845 on the painted surfaces, bare metal surfaces, hard plastic surfaces.
I used the Aero 303 undiluted on rubber components like hoses, rubber edging, etc.

That's funny me too. Put a poorboys pour top on mine. Fits perfect.
