Yesterday cleaned convertable top with ragtop cleaner and then washed the rest of the car body, after top dried treated with Ragtop protectant. I was hoping to wax car same day but ran out of time, the car has not been driven but today there is a light dusting on car. My question; can I simply rinsed off car body with water (dont't want to get top wet) wiped down with microfiber towel, then go ahead and wax.

I would use a waterless wash, or a QD at least. If you have a leaf blower, you can get rid of a lot of dust with that first.

+1 in this situation with a light dust I'll do a waterless wash with Ultima Waterless Wash+. Perfect product for the issue.
