i just polished out a customers black lava HD F150 with hyper polish . i had tryed to install a layer of OC 2.0 last week after 13 hours of claying, compunding, polishing. The first app. attempt hazed up and killed the coating. So OPT called and said "try the coating again but use hyper polish and a white pad. i washed the truck with dawn and did a light clay and then used the hyper polish. the hyper polish is amazing and smells great. Foam cannoned with dawn and dyed the truck. next was the car pro eareser. I followed the OC 2.0 directions to a tee. All went fantastic. no hazing at all, flashing pefect and then wiped of the hight spots. OPT amazed me so much i will be buying there 89.99 kit soon. That comes from a huge Menzurna fan

Can't you apply OC right after hyper polish? Reading their site shows hyper polish leaves the paint ready for OC??

I did it right after hyper polish, and I will say it has held up for the past month, we'll see how long it holds up. But optimum has always delivered, so I'm not worried :xyxthumbs:

Thank you for your email and sharing your Optimum results. Your truck has a mirror shine and reflection and shows your great detailing ability. You can just wipe the surfaces with a damp microfiber towel after hyper polish before applying Opti-Coat. There is no need to use IPA since there are no fillers in the hyper system.

Last I looked, Ford still offers the Harley edition. The Platinum is the former Lincoln LT that didn't sell that well. For those who don't want all the Harley insignia, there's a model called the Limited, that has most of the same bells and whistles. I think they still have the King Ranch too. I don't think any of them would be considered 'entry level' vehicles, lol.

it was the truck owner that told me that.
