Hi everyone. So last week, I gave my car a good wash and wanted to apply a wax to it. In the past, I used Meguiar's NXT 2.0 Tech Wax (liquid version) using a 9006 pad and my PC. The application and removal was very easy but last week, I thought I would try out my Meguiar's Gold Class Carnauba Paste Wax by hand. It was a little sunny out but I still managed to put the wax on and take it off. The car looked great but then, two days later it rained and after the car dried up, I saw white streaks which led me to believe that it was excess wax on the car. My question is how can I prevent this and two, if I remove the excess wax, do I need to rewax those areas?

It could be a combination of applying to much wax, doing it on a hot surface, or both. It depends on what you use to remove the excess wax. If you use a product that "removes wax", then yes, reapply to the effected areas. If you are able to buff it off non chemically, then you probably do not need to reapply.
