This is a car that I did a detail and correction on over a year ago and the owner/builder asked me to give it a once over before putting it into winter storage (car show season is pretty much done here). It wasn't too bad, just light defects from the duster and the polished aluminum needed a little work. (We decided to go over the aluminum a little and I'll come back when he has the wheels off and do them off of the car)

I normally don't post show and shine stuff, as I don't take a lot of pictures, don't have a good camera, and I just detail for fun and to pay for my SEMA trip. So I apologize for the lack of a quality, detailed write up, but I thought it was interesting that the Autogeek staff was at a Corvette show while I was working on this car and I know Mike Phillips loves Big Block Chevys. :props: This car is a 910hp 540ci BBC that he runs on 110 octane fuel. :dblthumb2: It sure smells good and sounds awesome.

Here are the pictures from my phone.....

Here is an old picture from a car show after I worked on the car the first time. (A little better than a paint booth picture)

A few weeks ago I did one of his customer cars that he built 16 years ago.

That's a beautiful corvette. Next time you get a chance shoot a couple of interior and engine bay shots. Would love to hear that thing run.

I only have a couple of lame shots of the interior and engine.

Thanks. The garage isn't mine, however. It is the paint booth of the rod and custom shop that built both cars. It gets pretty warm in there with all the lights on, too. My shop isn't as well lit.

Thanks Bob. I just think it is a pretty neat car and his 'business card' for his shop. It is a love it or hate it car for most people, but it gets attention and shows the skill and quality of work from his shop.

Lucky for me, I just do this for fun so I can be a little selective with the cars I work on. I'm not a fan of the soccer mom minivans that want a $60 full detail. I have earned the trust and respect to work on some cool cars for some really cool customers.

No problem Mike, I love to see the cool cars that appear here on AGO so I thought I would contribute.
Thanks!
