I did a 50/50 split...

1. Washed with Zymol Premium car wash

2. Decontaminated the paint with the Nanoskin Autoscrubber

3. Meg's UC w/GG 6" and Orange Pad

4. Meg's UP w/ GG 6" and Orange Pad

5. Carbanuba wax w/GG 6" and Red pad

6. Final wipe down with my super soft Metropolitan Detail MF Towel.

The customer could not believe the results and she couldnt stop touching the paint I corrected...another appt this week.

Very nice :) It would be hard for her to explain to all her friends what was going on with the hood of her car if she didn't come back lol!

Btw, one question, why did you use an orange pad again for the second step?

Hood needs a respray, paint is peeling off. Good luck matching that oxidized, neglected paint on the rest of the vehicle though! I don't want to be the guy to tell her she needs to repaint the whole thing!

There was a guy on here who painted his whole car in his back yard. Believe it or not it came out NICE! Like showcar finish nice. His name escapes me though.

Anyway nice job on the detail so far, good luck with the rest of it!

How do you like the griots orange pad? Do you think they are a aggressive pad?

It seems to be working for the work that I'm doing...I did lose 1 that only lasted 2 weeks. I'm looking getting Hex Logic pads...they like more quality.
