OMG my body aches so bad! Seriously I feel like I was doing hard manual labor all day. It is very tough to control. I am not sure how much better it cuts but it does finish decent.

Just my 2 cents.

I find that my 3401 is much better with a LC foam pad...as far as vibration and control. I use the Optimum MF pads, but feel that the machine vibrates right through them. I love the pads though...they cut and finish so great!!!! Maybe some gel padded gloves could help things out?

Unfortunately this has been discussed multiple times; and the forced rotation of the 3401 does not lend its self well to the MF disks.

Meg's MF disks were designed specifically for the PC style DA polisher. The new Opti version are made to work with a rotary as well... But I'm not sure any of them are made to work on the 3401.

Only keep speed at 3.5-4 max. What I've noticed about the mf pads is you can really keep the speed down and still get great correction. But I will agree with you mf pads on the 3401 are grabbier then foam, irregardless of speed.

Lol, and you didn't dislocate your arm, that's awesome! Just a heads up they are not made for that high rpm, I think it's 4k opm max
