View Full Version : How do you charge for your detailing service?
Guys, I want to know how to charge my clients, so I'm asking how you do yours ?
I mean...
Car size ?
Color ?
Polishing steps ?
clay ?
Wax or sealant?
Leather seats ?
Restore and protect trims ?
Dress tires ?
How do you break down services to charge? Do you offers packs ? what's the composition of it ? What's the extra jobs you offer?

For basic stuff I charge a basic flat rate.
Example:
Wash & Wax: $150
(Includes: wash, regular wheel wash, tire dressing, Sealant or Liquid Wax, Interior wipe down)
Maintenance wash: $115
(Includes: wash, regular wheel wash, tire dressing, Interior wipe down)
Polishing: $30 - $60 per hour
For add ons like Leather cleaning / restoration, Trim Restoration, Coatings, I think you will need to set a base price and then add extra based on the job size and conditions. Obviously some will be worse than others.
I personally have my base prices and then quote each job out. So I can add on per job based on the overall conditions.
Hey Troy! Thank you very much for your reply.
I'm sure this type of topic is of interest of a lot of people here at AGonline, so it'll be great to have more people posting their way to charge for their work.
