I'm sure I'm not the first one to try this, but hadn't seen it mentioned so thought I'd post it.

Most people seem to use their finger to spread the polish around the pad.

I tried a spoon instead.
The back of a spoon (tablespoon size) works great for sperading the polish. Better control of uniformity and faster compared to the finger spreading method. Plus you don't have crud all over your finger to wipe off.

Best of all, it costs nothing to try (well, assuming you have some old silverware)

I can't afford silverware, will a plastic spoon work?

If you don't want to try it, don't.
There's no reason to crap all over threads with snide comments.

He's just kidding around...please don't take offense. BTW...it is a good idea. I still use my finger and never think about using any given number of tools in my garage. Now I will. Thanks. :dblthumb2:

No snide comment. Just a funny thought since it's like spreading icing. And it is a good idea.

Have a nice day.

That is a good idea, I have used paint stirrer before, this save a trip to local harware!
