HI, I'm looking for a good hand polish that is easy to use and quick, and does not leave any protection behind. What kind of applicator would be good to apply the product also?

Thanks

Is it for defect removal?

Megs Ultimate Compound x2
Use it with their yellow foam applicator.
Very good results when used by hand!

Not scratches, just minor paint swirls.

Polish:
BLACKFIRE Gloss Enhancing Polish, prewax polish, car polish (http://www.autogeek.net/blackfire-gloss-enhancing-polish.html)

This polish is for general cleaning and has no cut, but the built-in glaze will help conceal minor blemishes.

Hand Pad:
CCS Euro Foam Hand Polish Applicators - Hand polish, hand detail, foam applicators, CCS foam pads, polishing pad (http://www.autogeek.net/ccs-foam-hand-applicators.html)

The white pad if for general polishing and has very little cut, if at all. The orange pad has a light cut.

Just recently detailed my car and used BFGEP and the LC CCS hand pads (white and red) to good effect. Not that hard at all. Here's the link to a review I did featuring the above said products:

Hope this helps.

Will Megs Ultimate Compound be too aggressive for what I want for minor swirls? Just the word compound makes me weary. Do I want something like Megs M205 instead?

I see; however seems more aggressive for my needs. I don't want to remove more clear coat than necessary.

Some people might respond with an AIO product. Of course, I will protect the paint afterwards with a separate sealant or wax.

Meg's 205 is a finishing polish.

Meg's 205 is a finishing polish.

Yes, but does it not get rid of swirls?

From the product page " Meguiars Mirror Glaze #205 Ultra Finishing Polish permanently removes swirls and light imperfections, leaving a smooth, reflective finish."

Or can someone suggest something that can get rid of minor spider webbing without being abrasive as Meg's Ultimate Compound, or is there no other option?
