2012 Camaro Behind The Scenes Video! - How Autogeek makes a video? (http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/pictures-autogeek-s-car-week/55091-2012-camaro-behind-scenes-video-how-autogeek-makes-video.html)

Recently my friend Al Burzo brought his brand new black Camaro Convertible to Autogeek for an extreme makeover because from the dealership it was completely trashed.

Together with Todd Helme, the Director of Development for Blackfire and a team of both pro and enthusiast detailers we removed the swirls and restored a flawless show car finish.

During this project we did a live broadcast AND shot a how-to video. This is the live broadcast version where you'll see bloopers, mistakes and lots of cuts as we stop the normal progression of buffing out the car to shoot dedicated segments for a Blackfire How-To Video.

So grab a tub of popcorn, sit back and have a good laugh while watching a behind the scenes look at both an extreme makeover and the making of a video here at Autogeek!

This video is in two parts...

I just watched the final cut of the How-To on YouTube. It was neat seeing what Yancy came up with after watching the raw footage and behind the scenes shots during the live broadcast.

It was interesting making the video while also really buffing out the car and managing a team of people (behind the scenes), with wide ranging skills and experiences but in the end, the Camaro came out looking AWESOME and we have a fun and educational video too...

Yancy set up the Go Pro Camera to do a time lapse capture of the entire project taking a picture every minute. We went through most of the pictures on the airplane ride home last night and it's really cool.
