A little late to the dance PAUL, but I will follow you with a micro-fiber anywhere you go.:dblthumb2:

I spoke with Jon the owner last week and we're still on for this Thursday.

We'll be taping--off the raised body lines and then machine wetsanding using 3M Trizact discs, probably start at #3000 but might go down to #1500, then finish out with #5000 and then compound and polish.

Mike I'll stop in and lend a hand if the space is open.

Thanks Paul, it's always good to have your help.

Robert DiTerlizzi might stop by too...

Hey Mike,

I'd love to come out to this but I can't leave my puppy on his own for that long unfortunately. I'll fire up the computer and watch from home though.

I may need to do a similar project on my own. I finally got my Supra back down to FL. Freshly painted but swirls and some sanding marks left behind, really kind of disappointed that the shop left things that way but I know it can be taken care of. I'd love to bring it by to have you check it out sometime soon to see what you think.

I'll keep an eye on your schedule and try to find another time where I can manage to come out.

Bryan

Hi Bryan,

I love your Supra!

Sometime, maybe in February we can make your car a project car and get it back to where it deserves to be...

Very cool...

Hmmm..... or just eat pizza?

It's always possible something can happen especially when working with classic cars, hotrodded or original. We've had two classics cancel in the past for mechanical reasons the day of the event, so you never know...

That said, I invited my buddy Glen to attend tonight so if Jon and his Mustang cannot make it we'll do a refresh of his old Ford truck...

Leaving for Mobil Tech Expo tomorrow.

Next week I'll be preparing for my two-day Detailing Boot Camp Class.

No time this week or next week for Thursday Night projects.

I expect to have a few in February though. Best thing to do is to always check the bottom of the forum homepage. That's where I announce ANY projects coming up here at autogeek.
