I'm having a hard time finding 3 inch pads. I was wondering if the cyclo pads will work on this? Also are the 4 1/4 inch optimum pads too big for the 3 inch buffer?

What are you guys using?

I started with the 3" orange Griot's pads, but now I use 3" MF pads, either the Meg's or the Optimum.

I use Griot's pads, Meg's and Optimum mf pads, and just picked up the 3" Lake Country Hydro Tech pads.

3" sanding discs...

The machine is really not capable of turning a pad with any pressure at all. At first I was unhappy with it but then I made it my dedicated sanding machine and it works great. I do use 3" optimum MF, and 3" LC HT pads on my Flex PE-14 though. Love them!

Really? See I wanted this for the door pillars mirrors etc. I also planned using it for sanding head lights.

Works for me with light to moderate pressure.

That was what i got it for as well originally.

Well, it sounds like others are having better luck. Mine can handle no pressure, must be defective?

Oh well, I'm happy with it for sanding now and using my other machine with 3" pads.

It's pretty wimpy, I find it works better with the MF pads.
