Hi has anyone used this on dark colored cars? I tried this in my white car and it looks great, but on my black car I felt it gave the car a different type of shiny look, and the flakes dont pop out as much.

Anyone else have experience with Silo Seal? Would love to hear your thoughts. :xyxthumbs:

I used it this past weekend on my red Dodge Ram. Very easy to use. It seemed to have a slight plastic look to. Super easy to use and great beading.

I want to try it on my black 350z as well.

Exactly the words I was looking for, Plastic look.

Often...Typical of "sealants"...Lots of folks (including myself, at times) say:
"they impart a 'plastic' patina<<<(sheen, shine, shone :D ).

Other times, I must say, that with some sealants the "patina" is akin to being:
Superficial...Like a Paris Hilton/Kim Kardashian appearance (fake?).

I just try to remember what sealants' intended functions/characteristics are;
and, test a carnuba wax layered atop said sealants for:
"The Eye of the Beholder Syndrome".
(Then, again, by doing so...The questions doth arise. LOL)

:)

Good way of putting it, but I didn't notice this with Blackfire CS or BFWD. They almost looked like Nuba.
