Hey guys. I just got my new Porter Cable kit for my bday yesterday (my wife rocks).. It came with one white pad. The kit she got came with two orange pads, two black pads (dark grey), and two white pads.. The bonus that it came with was two smaller red pads, pad cleaner, pad conditioner, and a couple of microfiber towels..
I still need to buy the actual products though. The car I am working on is a 2000 Corvette with HORRIBLE water spots that are at least 3 months old.. I have washed it with vinager and the white rings around the spots came out but they are etched into the paint pretty bad. I probably wont be able to completely correct the paint without wetsanding is what body shops are telling me. Anyway, the question at hand is which products to purchase? I know I need a cutting compound a polishing compound and a good wax.. Does anyone know of a nice kit with everything needed?? I tried looking on the site and couldnt really find what I was looking for..
