Best Interior UV Protection?

Looking for the best UV protection. I am guessing 303 or the Ultima Protectant, but perhaps there are others? Would be used on the dash/doors and my "leatherette" seating.

Ultima is some pretty solid stuff but if you dont want to go spend those bucks, Megs interior protectant w/ scotchguard has never done me wrong. It's readily available, and leaves a nice non greasy finish....and it's cheap

+1 to Ultima. I have been using it on almost everything because I love the way it feels to the touch--like a chinchilla's belly.

I always wondered what that means, for instance, for a dashboard:
- SPF for a sun lotion is roughly a ratio between the time you can stand in the sun without getting a sun burn without applying anything and the time you can stand if you apply the lotion (SPF 40 means 40 times longer);
- how does that translate into a car interior? If it stands 30 days under direct sunlight without harm, it will stand 1200 days if you use 303?

I agree with the last post. I just really like the look of 303 . Doesn't streak at all and leaves a nice satin, non greasy finish.

I've been interested in trying Meg's vinyl and rubber cleaner/conditioner. It claims to offer uv protection. Does anybody have any experience with this product? How does it compare to 303?

I kind of alternate between Ultima and 303. For me it really depends on how often I will be re-applying. Ultima should last ~3 months where as 303 is gonna be good for ~30 days. I have no facts to prove this but I FEEL like 303 protects better for some reason. And I also prefer the look of 303 slightly over UIGP

I use two products for interiors.

Either UIGP or PERL. For those that like 303 upgrade to perl... After diluting it's priced better also.

I like Blackfire Interior Protectant. It claims to have UV inhibitors and it dries to a nice low-gloss satin finish that is non-greasy and dry to the touch. I ordered it on a recent BOGO and really love it.

I agree, I did the same thing and tried it out on my Vette this weekend. Its really good stuff, not 100% matte like Ultima, but very close and it deepens black more. No odor either.
