Optimum Microfiber Pads

I have a Meguiars G110v2. Can I use these pads with the backing plate Meguiars uses with their microfiber pads or do I use the original backing plate that came with the D/A polisher.

Either should work. Optimum's backing plate, IIRC, has no velcro at the edge so you can grab the backing when you take the pad off, less chance of tearing the foam.
