Got a 2007 Chev SS Paint Correction in and the paint had seen better days. Started off washing, then claying, next applying wax and grease remover to front of hood and repairing some rock chips. After the chips were dry I sanded with 2500 grit wet and moved on to compounding the paint with Megiuars 105. After M105 I used Megiuars 205 finishing polish and sealed the paint with Klasse AIO and Klasse Glaze. These are pictures of only the glaze final, after the photo shoot was done I went over it with Pinnacle Series II paste wax after the glaze had time to set up.

agree so much. i always think that after proper polish it will look better than when it was new first came out of the dealer lots... perhaps i have not got a new car for too long and missed the shine.

You should do the owner a favor and take off the cheesy SS badges that never Came on a GMC. Nice work by the way.

I noticed the SS badges as well, they look like they are upside down.

OMG you are so right! This is a *&%^ up on my part. The truck is a Chevy but I labeled it GMC in the thread.
I could use a little help on how to change the title and text in the thread. I cannot find any edit options to do this in my control panel. Does anyone know how to edit a thread that has posts on it? Any help would be greatly appreciated!Feed back please

Nice work Kevin!! As I was looking at the before photos I was thinking "With that hard GM paint, I bet that took a while to correct" 23 hours of straight cleaning, compounding and polishing wears you out don't it?

Truck looks great!! I too think the SS logos appear to be up side down, kind of looks like 66 instead of SS.

Thanks Dave, it was a bit of time but I spread it out over a few evenings. Good thing I focus on the end result, or yes, it would get old quick with the amount of labor involved. Customer was happy and it always feels great to return a "better than new" vehicle.

I used to under estimate the time involved in doing certain jobs and kill myself working around the clock to get them done. Now when I get a real tough job like the one you've posted here, I also do what you did here and keep the vehicle for a few days.

I hear ya! Working around the clock means there is no time for hot tubs, whiskey or women. And that just seems WRONG to me.
