Beauty Shots from the 2012 Camaro Live Broadcast (http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/pictures-autogeek-s-car-week/54540-beauty-shots-2012-camaro-live-broadcast.html)

Short Before Video
Here's the before video I took after the Camaro arrived...

Brand New Camaro completely filled with swirls and scratches

The complete recorded live broadcast video

Autogeek's Thursday Night Detail - Blackfire - YouTube

Before ShotsI didn't get a lot or very good camera shots to show the before condition but here's a few....

This shot is just to frame up the below shot which I cropped out of this shot. The thing to remember is the entire finish, both horizontal panels and verticle panesl were completely trashed with scratches.

This is the passenger side front corner of the hood...
http://www.autogeekonline.net/gallery/data/1516/2012CamaroFin018.jpg

Dull, hazy, filled with swirls and scratches and the clearcoat was no where near clear.

And this is off a BRAND NEW CAR?
If you watched the Live Broadcast, you saw me clay most, not all but most of JUST the hood. Keep in mind this Camaro has only 2000 miles on it since purchased new. Look at all the brown crud that came off the hood using Blackfire Detailing Clay.

Where has this car been since rolling out of the assembly plant?
Anyone want to guess what the brown stuff is?

And if you want to see how we turned this diamond in the rough into a glistening gemstone, here's the live broadcast video which also shows the behind the scenes chaos that takes place when actually shooting a how-to video.

Yancy will be editing down the above full length live broadcast into a shorter, compressed video showing just Todd and me going over step-by-step how to use the Blackfire Paint Correction System to restore a show car finish on your car in your garage.

Stay tuned for an announcement as to when this will air...

So what happened to all the goofy close up pics that Todd took of his face? Or are those not considered "beauty shots?"

I have an article on your question... here's a 2012 SS I buffed out a couple of years ago back when we still had the white and black tile floor...

Yeah but Al still does a great job. I saw his 1959 El Camino we buffed out here at Autogeek before he sold it and it was shipped to Australia and it still looked really good and he's wiped it down dozens of times using microfiber towels and spray detailers...

Had to take a break for a while as some of our recent projects just haven't lent themselves to live broadcasts but I do have some projects that do lend themselves to live broadcasts so hang tight...
