What's the most effective way to get dried wax out of cracks?

I wasn't knowledgeable at applying wax when I first started and now I have lots of buildup :(

A cheap 1" paint brush works great, you can cut it down to 3/8 or 1/2 an inch long. I cut one at an angle also to get in real tight spots.

i wrap a microfiber towel around a plastic razor blade (ScrapeRite Plastic Razor Blades, Scrape-Rite Razor Blades, Plastic blades (http://www.autogeek.net/scraperite-plastic-razor-blades.html)). works like a charm!

:iagree:

Or a old credit card works. Learned that tip from Todd Helme.

The very reason I won't use anything but WOWA sealants now, no wax crap ever again!

Any idea where I can find these razor blades? They're not available on AG. I found that these work very well on removing decals and old pinstripes as well

I read the thread where Todd recommended this and something so simple works to darn well.....:props:

I use toothpicks sometimes for real tight crevices.

eBay: plastic razor blades. They are dirt cheap for a huge pack of 'em.

I'll do this first as I have this on hand, and then move on to the other suggestions if I'm still having tight spots I can't reach.

Thanks everyone!

I just used Meguiars body solvent and then scrubbed with a toothbrush. I wiped it up with a terry cloth towel and the results were spectacular!

Simple green is very effective at breaking it up.

I found some plastic razor blades from various suppliers on Amazon.
