That turned out great! Did you miss the plastic trim above the chrome bumper on the back? Looks like there is dirt sitting in the cracks.

thanks guys..like i said it was just a quick exterior clean up until i have time to do a proper correction. she took a bit of a beting this summer (she is a truck afterall), but i have a few scratches i have to get out, then polish her up to a great shine just in time for the snow!

i'm very happy with how i've been able to preserve the condition of the truck since her last full correction last fall (especiually being a DD and black). very few swirls and some very minor scratches im sure the menzerna or WG will blast away, and ill be good to go to sealant and top coat with collonite for the winter.

WOW, that's one gorgeous new Dodge RAM!

I like your choice of products and glad you tried Duragloss Aquawax.

A also see you're a Pepsi drinker.....

thanks BobbyG. the truck isnt that bad, recently new to me (last fall), but it is a 2010...its my second ram and so far like it, other than the wimpy 4.7 litre motor.

i was very happy to finally break out the aquawax...i can't believe the way the flake pops (although it was good with just the liquid nattys blue), but the slickness was unbeatable. im definately looking to change to the DG more and more when i need to replace product.

in the next few weeks im going toput her through the paces again, with some SF4000 or SF4500 and some PG1000 on the scratches, then the WG 3.0 sealant, and maybe 845 for the winter (im going to try and spray it on the applicator to keep it thin). all in all the paint is good shape for lback, and ive been able to avoid many swirls being careful with the wash routine. but there is no easy to avoid the shopping carts and other doors scrapes and dings a DD will get you.
