[Advanced Detailing]

This person called me after posting on here , looking for a detailer.
I don't frequent the forum very often so i never saw the post.
Apparently a few names were mentioned and he made some calls, never to be called back.
I don't understand that but anyway, he finally got to call me.
Since doing this job i have received several calls from other lexus forum members who saw the thread he made on a forum.
The car will come back after he removes the clear bra.

Wow amazing work you did there!

Can i ask you what products were used to achieve such greats results on the paint?! My first job will be a black Infinity G37 and swirls are similar to what you had to take care of.

If you look in one of the reflection shots you can see that he looks to be using the Meg's MF system pads and compound with a DA polisher. Not sure if that was all that was used but I know you can get similar results with the MF system if used properly.

Nicholas is right, i did use the MF system but i switched to the Optimum pads.
They are WAY more durable. And i usually only do the compounding, then following it up with Menz 106 or something similar.
I do change my methods from car to car. After doing numerous jobs each week, i don't always remember what products were used, exactly.
This week i'll be doing an M5, R8TT, Aventador, X5M and a few more...by next week i'll have no idea what i did on each car.

Awesome results there , can you share what is the difference you observed with optimum pads as compared to others ???

Mainly their durability. The meg's fall apart very easily in my experience.

How do you do the bottom of the spoiler?

On this particular spoiler, it's not that difficult.
A regular 5" MF pad will get it, but you could always switch to the 3".

It all depends on the design of the spoiler.
If it's one that is raised off the car where you barely have room to get under it, you would have to dismount it to get to the underside.

Think it is time to order up everything I need for wet sanding for chip repair and deep scratches. Makes me so nervous to do it, but I have some areas on my car that need it and she will be my guinea pig.
