Well, my house faces west. Nearly every weekend I get a car after 9 a.m. (which really sucks because the sun is out and comes over the house). I mainly need help with the washing stage and waxing stage. Could anyone recommend me a shampoo product (for spotting) and/or an easy on easy off wax or sealant? (the wax likes to bake on the car, unfortunately)

Any advice would be great! :)

P.S. I wish to get good durability out of the wax/sealant also!

I would like ultima paint guard plus. Very easy to use and that bottle will last forever.

As far as polishes, ultimate compound, M205 and ultimate polish work well in the sun

Thanks! The polish usually bakes on the paint while I'm buffing the paint and causes micro-marring. How's the Ultima Wash?

Will do! Do the waxes/sealants last from Poorboys? These are customer vehicles..

I think ultimate wax by meguiars is safe to use in the sun, I would try calling autogeek and ask what is sun safe or good to use , for example, some products need to be activated in the sun

"If you're familiar with Poorboy's World, you know all their products are incredibly easy to use. Easy is an understatement for Poorboy's World Liquid Natty's Blue Wax! This liquid wax spreads effortlessly in the sun or shade. In fact, tests have shown it does great on hot surfaces! Even in direct sunlight, you will not see streaks. Poorboy's World Liquid Natty's Blue Wax can be applied by hand or with a buffer. Buffing it off is as easy as putting it on."

If I was to choose a product to apply in direct sunlight with extreme durability it would have to be Zaino Z2.

I use polish with sealant as my "basic" detail go to product and everyone is happy/suprised how good it looks! I havent tested durabilty but I know it has to be over a month.....month and a half on my customers vehicles.....but again thats a guess.

Poorboy's Polish w/Sealant is awesome. I use it on all the cars I do with Optimum Spray Wax (sealant) on top, and the results are incredible. (and long lasting)

Poorboy's World offers some great products and many can be used in direct sunlight. Like every other product they too have their limits....

Temperature rather than sunlight itself is the main issue and at some point even Poorboy's World products will succumb to a high surface temperature.

Take a look at the difference color makes....

I would recommend getting yourself one of those collapsible portable tents for shade. This will allow you to work in nearly every weather condition keeping you and the finish cool....

Bobby G (along with everyone else),

Thank you very much for the input! I will eventually put in an order with some of the items listed on Bobby G's list, as well as some Poorboy's products. Thanks again! :props:
