Hi everyone. Today I've got two quick ones for you. I've got one 4 door and one 2 door Golf R that both recieved a one step correction and an Opti Guard application. Both were fairly straight forward. We will start with the 2 door.
First I started with the wheels, tires, and wells. The wheels were cleaned with Iron X, the tires with APC+, and the wheel wells got APC+ as well.
The wheels were coated with OG, the tires dressed with Hyper Dressing, as well as the wells.
Wheels Before:

Wheels During:

Wheels After: I forgot to take an after photo, but you can see them in the final pictures at the end of the thread. They came out great.
So here is how the paint looked when it was dropped off. It had been raining here so it was fairly dirty and had some light waterspoting. At first inspection the swirls did not look to be too bad, but it's tough to tell through the dirt.

Before washing i foamed the vehicle with a mix of Hyper Wash and APC+ to help strip anything LSP that the dealership may have applied. While it was left to dwell I agitated the emblems, body seams, trim, and gas filler area with a RaceGlaze brush.

Next the vehicle was washed with Hyperwash, clayed with Ricardo fine clay, and Iron X was used to remove the little bit of iron fallout that was embeded in the paint. It was then dried with the Masterblaster.
Now we could see the true condition of the paint, and for the most part it wasn't too bad. It's tough to see the defects in the blue since it had so much flake in it, but you can sort of see it here.

It was much easier to see on the black painted pillars

To correct the minor swirls I used Menzerna Powerfinish on a Tangerine HT pad on my Meguiars G110
It was tough to see a difference on the blue since you couldn't see many of the swirls to being with, but it was very obvious on the black pillars.

After everything was corrected the paint was wiped down with Carpro Eraser and then Opti Guard was applied to the paint, trim, glass, wheels, headlights, and tail lights.
Here is how the vehicle turned out.

As for the white 4 door it received pretty much the same treatment. I didn't' get any before pictures since my camera's battery was charging, but here is how it turned out.

Overall both of these vehicles were a blast to work on. they have a very cool body style with lots of curves that give great reflections when corrected and coated with Opti Guard.
Thanks for looking, and I look forward to your feedback!
