So i really wanted a fenix headlamp to use while im polishing. I wasnt down for the 80$ price tag though. I started to do some research and found that almost every high end headlamp company uses led from a company called cree led

I also found that this company makes their own headlamps that are way cheaper than anything ive found so far.

Here is the link....16 bucks and free shipping... I ordered 2 of them so I will post a review on it later...:buffing:

If you want to get a led look at high CRI (color rendering index) led lights. A 90 or above really lets you see more. I can see more with my 200 lumen high cri than with my 800 lumen standard or cool white led.

How is it that reputable brands like Fenix, SureFire and Ultra claim fairly reasonable lumens quotes on their top-end lights (180 to 450), but the cheapie no-names claim in the several thousand lumens...?

Oh wait, I just answered my own question.

Update----this thing works awesome...16 bucks well spent!
I compared this to my 200$ streamlight flashlight and this is brighter and actually shows the swirls.

Great information and the price is right....:props:

I wonder how the 600 compares to the 1200?
