Constant pressure pads vs non

Looking at the CCS pads, Constant pressure vs non. Is there a difference when applying the LSP. ITs the same foam right??

They are the same foam on the face but they have a blue foam on the back to keep them stable. They will work but you might be happier with good old flat pads. They work just as well if nor better and with the velcro going all the way to the edge it will last longer. My da backing plate was able to catch the edge where the back was just foam and left little bits of foam all over the place.
