View Full Version : Using Mothers' micro Polishing Glaze

Hello all have a 500sl-Mercedes black-Feed back please paint looks great few scratches . just purchase Mother's micro-polishing glaze was going to use first and then follow up with mother's wax. will polishing glaze hurt paint- Haven't used before just the mother's wax.any helpful hints:xyxthumbs:

Wash then clay .1 step per-wax cleaner 2 step the sealer&gaze will not hurt to do 2cots if needed then 3 step carnauba wax no wait time in between

Step 2 has no abrasives. You should perform the 3 steps in sequence. It's possible you can instill more scratches if you skip the claying and then step 1. However, Mercedes paint is most likely hard which will work in your favor.

If you have not detailed your car, I would also recommend Mothers system: clay, pure polish, micro-polishing glaze, then the wax.

The system will not really remove the scratches but it will help reduce the visibility of scratches.

Are you doing this by hand or machine?
