So my 15 year old son brought home another car. A barn find. it is a 1966 Austin For Hire Car. All original London Taxi. We cleaned it up as best we could without getting to aggressive. Trying to maintain its survivor status. Here are a few pics...

This is the first father son project we worked on together. Brings back the best memories from my childhood polishing the family cars with my Dad. THE BEST OF TIMES.

Soon thereafter "the press" FOX Sports Ohio arrived and decided to interview my son. Will air later in the month. They said they will send the tape direct to us. LOL! Folks just could not believe it was original paint....

as an update... my son did another show with his car this one was judged against some some fairly heavy competition. Lots of compliments on the detail. Many full restorations and trailer Queens in attendance, survivors not so much.

Proud Papa....
