Ok, so i'm an Ozzy fan. I thought twice about posting this because I currently have no decent pics. What I did was bought a GG6 and did a wash, clay, paint correction on the front clip of my 2000 Reg. cab chevy silverado short bed 4x4. Not even sure of the exact color but she's grey. I had good results, problem was I got called out to work before I could apply any LSP. I went with the Griot's Garage Polisher Club Kit. I used the Wolfgang Duo, the one orange CCS pad I had which was ruined in the process ( I'm guessing since it caved in in the center, any thoughts??) and the white CCS pad for the finishing glaze. Now everything was holding up pretty good, but since I had no access to proper washing facilities, I decided to see just how much a car wash foaming brush, used with lots of foam would scratch my one month or so old correction. As you guessed I did get some light scratches ( this is where the madness comes in) :buffing: I pretty much inflicted these scratches on purpose so I can test more products LOL. I currently have on hand at home V7, Collinite 845, DP Max Wax, Wolfgang DGPS. Trying to justify ordering some blacklight. I will attach a pic of my truck as she often gets from the various locations I work. Any thoughts or suggestions on what I should try out next on my test mule? I do have some RIDS, Paint chips, and various whiskey dents which detailing will not fix, and were not inflicted by me. I bought her that way so I could mash on it as I please. I still wanna make her look her best. I believe my next step will be mainly concentrated on the front clip, repair paint chips, light sanding of RIDS and etchings, then Opti Coat. Please be patient and stay tuned. I have Much nicer vehicles that will need tender loving care, so like I said this is my test platform. I have a couple more vehicles in the family that can use some "testing" too.

If you already have the Griot's polisher, consider adding some more pads and a 5.5" backing plate. See my article here, you can never have too many pads...
