Ragg Topp staining

I over applied Ragg Topp to the black convertible top of my BMW and it now has areas that look lighter in color. How can I correct this?

I did a Mustang using the same products two weeks ago.

Did you follow the steps using the video on Autogeek?
Did you use the right product for the right roof?
Did you use a Horse or Boar's hair brush?

Yes, yes and not applicable as I was applying protectant, not cleaner.
