How long do I have to wait to put on a second layer of BFWD?

I believe BFWD cures faster than normal sealants. I'd give it at least 4-5 hours though before applying a 2nd coat. Even better would be to wait overnight just to ensure proper curing.

Does a second coat add much more? Just curious, I've only used one.

Yeah, even though it says nowhere in their directions, it seems that everyone says 8 hrs of cure time before you apply anything ontop of it. What I do is spray on their Crystal Seal, wait the 45 minutes for it to flash and then apply a coat of BFWD but then again, I've got both products too.
Are you happy with the results so far?

I have heard..... 8 hrs. minimum if you are going to apply a 2nd layer, 12 hours full cure.

What if you don't have a garage? Do you have to clean the outisde again? Or, can you apply a second layer a week later when the car is washed again?

I would think you might want to wipe it down with some qd

ok, thanks. I was thinking the same thing as any dust, pollen would be sealed onto the paint.

Yeah, I live in an apartment and when I apply the 2nd coat, I just wipe the car down with QD and apply that 2nd coat, no problems.
