This is so frustrating. I just got a brand new set of microfibers in. I used them on one job, working outside, underneath some trees. I'm always very careful to not drop them on the ground, but when I got home, I've found bits of grass and leaves in them. The leaves must've fallen out of the trees and the grass must've just been blowing in the air. Has anybody figured out a way to get this stuff out of the microfibers with a long nap?

Spray adhesive on Tin foil and rub on towels. Works awesome.

Demote them to interior, wheel, door jamb, or engine towels.

try soaking them in a bucket of water and massage out all the debris and if it's too tedious to use tweezers to pull out all the debris in the towel(s), use them on wheels/engine. it's not worth taking a risk using them on the paint...

Get one of those sticky lint brush things from the dry cleaner

:iagree:

I find a lot of stuff is easier to pick out of wet towels between washer and dryer.

Try a dog de-shedding tool. Someone will have to hold the towel while you comb it out but this has worked for me in the past.
