ive always been interested in detail but ive never actually gone through and purchased any tools to get that better than show room finish.
my past cars 2009 and 2011 WRX, MKIV supra, 2009 gt500 and now a 2010 corvette and 2011 chevy cruze RS both black. my cruze isn't bad with only 12k but my vette with 8k miles has bad spider webs... and I'm desperate for it to look like new again. I'm in the process of doing a wide rear end and suspension but once that's done I'm goin to stock my garage to be my own personal detail shop.
looking at the porter cable, not sure on the brand of products yet, the machine for the water to be purified, blower to dry the car, dual buckets with grit guards and rollers and a foam gun. but it's going to be a little while like October... I'm hoping to pick up sergeant today and project "detail" will be a go.
hope to learn a lot and meet some cool people, I'll post picks of my past ladies later since I can't from my iPhone.
