NANOSKIN Autoscrub

NANOSKIN AutoScrub works fast and achieves professional results with the new advanced rubber polymer technology, which replaces the use of clay bars.

A dual action orbital polisher is required. AutoScrub will safely and easily removes paint over spray, water spots, tree sap, rail dust and other bonded surface contaminants from the surface of automotive paint, glass, moldings and plastic.

AutoScrub works great with your favorite detail spray or clay lubricant. Unlike the clay bar, the AutoScrub can be cleaned by simply rinsing off the accumulated contaminates with water. If you drop the AutoScrub on the ground, no worries, just rinse the sponge pad clean and you're ready to keep using it.

AutoScrub allows for sturdy and controlled handling, unlike clay bars where constant reshaping is required.

Anyone try using this?

I am thinking about purchasing instead of clay. It comes in 6 inch and 3 inch pads.

I have heard nothing but good things. As long as you prime it well on a window.

I used it and it left a ton of micro marring. I like the towel better. Granted its a lot faster with the da but it just didn't finish right. I was doing it on a white truck too!

I found it to be excellent and very fast compared to a clay bar. You MUST have it well lubricated.
I didn't have any micro maring that I could easily see.
I like it

I agree. It looked almost like I sanded some spots on my car.

See? And I have used my Elastofoam about 6 times now, including on my own Lincoln with very soft paint, and it leaves no marks. I use a strong ONR solution and lots of it.

Hmmm I've only used it once on my own car. The only thing I can think of is I didn't use enough lubrication but I though I a LOT. I used 3/4 of the bottle that came with it for my Corolla :(

Well, I could suggest trying it with ONR (I use a slightly stronger mix than recommended). Hell, I even use a fair amount of downward pressure b/c I can feel it glide over the surface with the lube, so I want to make sure it still bites in a bit and does what I want it to.

I'll try that next time! Thanks Richy! :dblthumb2:

I find it interesting that a WHITE car was chosen to demo the towel.

I did a dark green Porsche 997 turbo, a dark blue metallic Mercedes S500 with a similar pad to the autoscrub and I got no hazing or scuff marks at all. But sometimes when I used the clay block I got scuff marks who looked like P4000 scratches.

And I would never use this on a paint that I wasn't going to polish after.
