How do I detail the roofs of vehicles that I am too short to see? I am afraid to put a ladder really close because I don't want to accidentally hit the paint.

Lowe's and HD have aluminum scaffolds..perfect for reaching the top of SUV's and Van's.

I put pipe foam insulation down the sides of my ladders. No worries about rub marks.
Or you could just hire played out NBA stars for your detailing bizz.

Autogeek will soon be stocking Harry Potter Flying Broomsticks just for that purpose.

This is the best thing I have found to use. Don't know how I got by without t. Werner Aluminum Work Platform. Got mine at Lowe's on Black Friday for $22. They are normally $44.

WOW - detailing for 12 years with ladders and had one real incident - a lady employee passed out and fell off a ladder working on an aircraft...... BUT - out of the THOUSANDS of other "vehicles" detailed - no other issue with using a ladder...... be cautious, but don't worry THAT much!
