There's any number of products that will work, but the Meguiar's consumer products, Swirl-X, Scratch-X and Ultimate compound are readily available and very effective, especially when you're working by hand. However, before you use any compound, consider trying some clay. It never ceases to amaze me how much clay can accomplish when you're dealing with paint transfer or foreign material on your paint. It may take a bit longer, but you'll be removing less of your truck's finish with clay than any compound.

Don't use any cheapie compounds or polishes, especially by hand as they will tend to scratch the paint. Being a white truck, you might not see the scratches.

Like Bill stated, stick with the Ultimate Polish or the Ultimate Compound and a clean applicator pad. After removing the scuff marks remember to apply wax to the affected area as the polish or compound will remove both the scuff marks as well as any previously applied wax or paint sealant.

It's possible a cleaner/wax would also work. Check out this how-to article as the principals explained hold true to scuff marks as well as paint transfer.
