Sometimes, we get caught up in the glitz and hoopla of new products, we forget about what works, and what works WELL. Ever since I cracked open my used 2 year bottle of 4Star UPP and was taken aback by how good it looked... I tried it again with Souveran.

I essentially haven't used it in a long time since I got rid of my black G35... now with Kona, I get to use it again.

Bottomline, it works. And it works well. I'm sure durability is questionable, but I don't care. So easy to apply and the looks (though it lasts only a couple days) is worth the 5 - 10 minute time it warrants to apply it. I applied Souveran this morning, 2 coats, after a wash and dry with CG HoneyDew and CG V7 respectively.

Long live Souveran.... it has once again earned its spot back in my LSP shelf. :)

Thanks man! Yeah I tried BFWD, and wasn't all too impressed. Then other folks said that BFMS was nothing special esp compared to Fuzion or Souv... Someday, I may try it...

I peronsal really like the non-HDR photos. The gloss is still there and the picture just looks "right", and perfectas is.

Thats for posting more shots of your Mustang! :props:

This and your first thread with Souveran have at times gotten me stuck in quite a few "trans like" moment when I find myself just staring into the deep blue ocean of your car. :nomore:

And for kicks, here's some HDR shots also taken today.

Thank you sir! But yes, that's why I always try to post both the HDR and natural unedited ones, because I am a fan of both as well... And some folks prefer one over the other.

first off, nice car, I always enjoy pictures of your Kona Blue Mustang

second off, I wish you picked a dark or black car for your Acura, I think you got silver? I always find silver a tad bit boring, especially for someone with your skills in detailing, you can make black look like a pool of ink if you tried, I'm sure

and finally 3rd, do you tell people "Hey, get off the streets you are gon ruin the picture of my car" cuz all I see is empty streets, lol unless you live in a place where its very quiet, I couldn't even get my streets that empty at 4 A.M in the morning!

Souveran is a great wax! It was my first wax purchase from AG. Love it! Love that color on your car too. I never get tired of looking at it. Very cool pics!

Love your car, kona blue is such an underrated color. On dark colors, i dont know how BFWDPS and BFMS looks but I know on my mineral gray and on lighter metallics, nothing compares. It really makes metallic paint pop. I will post pics of how my girlfriends Vista Blue 06 looks after i do this combo this week and see how it looks on darker metallics.

As far as the silver Acura, yes, I have had black cars all my life. Now that I have 2 kids though, time is even more a rarity than before... you know how it goes. But honestly, I got silver because for the TSX, it looked the best. I was planning on getting Black or Red in the special edition guise, but when I put them all side by side on the showroom floor and in the light, silver looked best by a mile. It just so happens that I get to enjoy the benefits of a Silver DD!!! :D:xyxthumbs:

Now to your downtown question... it's a combination of a couple things. We live in a small-ish town, so Sunday afternoons, it's desserted. Secondly, with the sparse # of people there, I just had to wait patiently until they left the area of my field of view. Same with the cars... I just had to wait patiently with my remote trigger till the path cleared, then SHOOT! Took me 2 hours to get all those shots. Oh there was also a few cops around... to see them looking at me all curiously. Priceless.

Thanks Hoyt. I saw your other thread and have yet to respond to it. Will do today. Love your challenger.

That blue is stunning!!!

This thread made me think about when I grabbed my Griot's caranuba stick this year after not touching it for about a year, all the Zaino Z-5 pro w/ZFX, Z-CS, then Black Fire WD, BFCS and ofcoarse KSG. The look all these products give my car almost makes the car's finish look fake but in a good way, you guys know what I mean but when I applied the Griot's caranuba wax stick to my car....WOW! deep gloss, wet lookin' and just a different look altogether, I like both so its all in how I'm feeling that day I guess.

I've used Sourvern before and remember it looking great, I need to add a can to my arsenal for sure, especially now that I'm here on AG.....or maybe the new Griot's caranuba.......or Fuzion, damn it!
