Try an inexpensive hair spray (Aquanet seems to work well).

Spray it on and wipe right away - don't let it dry. Condition afterwards with a quality leather specific product.

They make an ink remover sticks. Almost looks like a big Chapstick. Works amazing if it's fairly fresh. The sooner you can get it off the better.

+1 on the Leather Master Car Interior Ink Away, unless you have Alcantara or Suede,in that case look for RaceGlaze Alcantara cleaner.

Learned something today. I'll have to get one. Looks better than pulling our hairspray - maybe the neighbors won't stare so much.

We recently purchased a new vehicle and the drivers door had a ball point pen mark on it. I used the Leather Masters Ink Away stick and it did remove the ink. I had to let it dwell on the spot a bit longer than the directions indicate, but it now looks perfect.
The key is to use a leather conditioner after using the ink away to re-nourish the leather and that too helps to remove any traces from within the leather.

I think I have a video or some 50/50 shots of the ink remover I did in this old review. http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/product-reviews/30019-review-leather-master-car-leather-protection-cleaner-kit.html
