I looked at it and it seems like a cool idea. I could use it for customers' cars as maybe an add-on. It would also be good for my car, and seems to be cheaper (and probably easier to apply) than opti-coat. What do you all think of it?

Polycharger is a liquid you mix with a sealant or wax. Must be in liquid form obviously. Pretty much an additive that increases the durability of the sealant or wax. I know the Blackfire, Ultima, Four Star, and Sonus lines use polycharger in some of their products.

I have used the waterbased as it doesnt have a short half life after mixing.

Would collinite 845 be water or solvent-based? How can you tell?

I am not sure. But remember a thread from a while back when some mixed polycharger in their 845 and when they went to wipe it off, it would streak like crazy.

comes in several products like Ultima and Four Star ... it was cool to mix your own concoctions when it was released alone.

How does Polycharger compare to today's current formulations? I know it's used in Sonus Motorkote among other products.
