Wash it with Dawn or use a IPA or Eraser wipe down. Meg's has oil in their polish. You should be doing a wipe down after polishing to inspect the finish.

It's up to you but make sure you don't induce any swirls or marring. If I were you, I'd wipe down with IPA or something equivalent and then go right to your LSP.

Mix it 25% with water and either spray the panel or the mf towel. Car Pro's Eraser is real nice, it won't flash and grab like IPA.

Any run of the mill auto-wash would do as long as it doesn't have any gloss-enhancing properties and you do not introduce any additional swirls. It's for this reason alone why I would always lean towards IPA.

The cheapest and less risky approach (your time considered) would be a 10:1 IPA solution to remove the oil residue from the polish (10 parts water to 1 part IPA); using a very good quality MF towel with a medium NAP.

While everyone above is recommending an ipa or some other sort of wipedown wash, I have used M105 / M205 combo and then went straight to a sealant / wax with no issues and have gotten awesome results.

Is Meguiar's Final Inspection a good product for wipe down or does it leave something behind?

I've never done ipa before and had read on some threads that it can harm paint. Is this true?

I also have ONR is that good for a wiped own? I should be doing my 1st correction for personal use this week if the weather cooperates. Thanks, Spiney

Any reduction in durability?

FWIW ive always used IPA in my wipe down after polishing or compounding and im trying to get rid of this process since it can leave micro marring on some soft paints. My train of thought would be after polishing to use something like P21S or Pinnacle paintwork lotion with a blue LC pad then go straight to sealant. Wouldnt this be safer (not to mention faster) than doing a wipe down?
