My issue with any of these tire shine products is "Tire Sling" I've tried them all and even let them sit for an hour before I drive and I get the same thing.

Eagle 1 Environmental Shine and WALA, no tire sling and it provides a great "Wet Look"

You need to try some tire dressing that Autogeek carries.

Thanks! 2 coats from prior washes and 2 coats the day of the photos, about 4 hours apart

I agree,

I would also like to add that in my time on the forums, "sling" can mean many different things to many different people. as well as "zero" sling. Most product on Autogeek will not sling snot onto your qaurter panels, but the true test is if it can pass getting on the body panel where it tucks up into the liner. A white car will show the true results in the same way that a black car will show true results on whether a polish can finish down defect free.

Its the nature of the beast that most all gel or cream dressing are going to take a lot more care and a full wipedown to not sling. And I have used them all from PBMG offerings.

I hate gloating about this, but this product is now the only dressing on my rack, and it DOES NOT sling at all. I have a white car I am OCD about this. I apply one nice coating and let it soak in for about 30 minutes , then lightly pat the tire down. The result is a fantastic deep black tire. Optimum tire dressings have there own look and I like the look of this product better than Opti-bond. This formula was updated a few months ago, and durability is VERY good for a spray dressing. 1 month of a dressed dark look. after than, the tire still looks good and will not brown at all.

Optimum Tire Shine is a glossy, protective tire dressing for all exterior rubber trim, tires & moldings. Get the optimum shine on your car's tires! (http://www.autogeek.net/opt500.html)

I prefer water based dressing as they soak into the tire much better and are easier to completely remove and reapply. as Tires should not have permanent coating on them IMO because they are required to bloom and be cleaned off. Especially performance tires.
