Hello all,

Need to know how to and what kind of equipment and machine is used to clean carpet and seats of an auto detail? What products are used? Any ideas would be appreciated!

Thanks a lot,
George

It can be as simple as a scrub brush with cleaning solution & a shop vac, a steamer, up to a professional extractor costing thousands. Your question is just too broad for a simple answer. Also what kind of seats? Upholstery? Leather? Products probably number in the thousands.

george as I agree with Rtexas it really depends on application types of stain fabric etc. etc. but I will say this if you are going to shampoo anything i.e. carpets, floor mats, or upholstery just dont make the same mistake that I have seen many other detail companies make and that is not rinsing out the soap residue completely as it can lead to all types of problems in the future. If you have any questions let me know as I will be glad to help you get thru it
