With all the recent talk around here about burning pads that may or may not be caused by the backing plate getting too hot from a possible missing washer on it, I wanted to check my own set up to make sure the washer was present. I'm having
no problems at this time
Here is my backing plate. The only washer seems to be this fibrous disk that is stuck on my backing plate, or
It may actually have came attached to the backing plate:

Is this correct? Or should there be an additional washer between the plate and PC? Thanks!
